Mrs. Esther Reel, 52, wife of Robert Reel of Las Cruces, New Mexico, formerly of Morton, died in a Las Cruces hospital Monday afternoon, July 30, following a short illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday. Burial was in Las Cruces.
Mrs. Reel was born at Deer Creek June 5, 1910. She married Robert Reel August 19, 1934.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Steve Beebe and a son, Richard, both of Las Cruces.
While in Morton, where her husband operated a barber shop, Mrs. Reel was active in the Community Church, was a member of Chapter 974 of the Order of the Eastern Star, which she served as worthy matron, and was a member of the Morton Chapter EE of the PEO Sisterhood.
The couple was in Morton in 1947 when Robert owned a barber shop.
