    • Obit: Jul 1871 Herald of Truth
      On the 1st of May, after an illness of two years, in Butler County, Ohio, Arthur Salsman, aged 44 years, 11 months an 15 days. He had a desire to depart and be with Christ. He leaves a wife and six children. He was buried at the Apostolic Mennonite Church. Funeral discourses by Peter Kinsinger, from Heb. 13:14, and from Pre. Smoker from Ps. 39:5.

      Peter Schrock, Sr., was administrator of Arthur’s estate, which totaled $1612. Appraisers were Adam Flenner, B.F. Thomas, and C.K. Augspurger. Everything went to Magdalena and the four youngest children. [5]
