  • Notes
    • Apparently, this wedding was not approved of by Heinrich; thus, he and Jakob became alienated. Jakob was the only child of Heinrich and Jacobina who did not emigrate to America. He remained in Munich where he and Anna had one daughter, Maria.

Did not go to the USA. Broke with his father about 1841.

“In 1841, Jakob Stalter, the eldest son of the head of the church around Munich, Heinrich Stalter, broke with his father when he married the Protestant Anna Baker from Moosach / Munich. He remained with his wife in Bavaria, while the entire remaining extended family Heinrich Stalter emigrated to the USA.” (P.468) [2, 5, 6]
