    • Obit:
      Joseph A Lehmann, well known and successful farmer of McLean County, IL and living at Chenoa, born 5 miles north of Bloomington on March 2 1863, son of Peter and Magdalena (Stalter) Lehmann. He was reared and educated in Livingston County, IL and was a farmer. On Feb 3 1887, he married Martha Amelia Unzicker, a native Lexington, IL and daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Smucker) Unzicker. Mr. Joseph Lehmann died Oct 28 1936 and his wife (Martha) died July 23 1906. They had 7 children: Emma M (3/11/1888), Martha Amelia (1/11/1890), Ida M (1/8/1892), Pearl E (6/18/1893), Joseph P (12/21/1894), Matilda E (10/10/1898) and Magdalena I (4/27/1904). Mr. Lehmann was a republican and member of the Mennonite Church.
