      FISHER — Justin B. Unzicker, 17, of Fisher, died Sunday (May 15, 2016) in rural Mahomet from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
      His celebration of life service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Gibson City Bible Church, Gibson City.
      Justin was born July 7, 1998, in Urbana, a son of Kellie Unzicker, who survives in Fisher. Other survivors include his brother, Brandon Unzicker, Fisher; his maternal grandparents, Mark and Barb Unzicker, Fisher; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Sharon Logan, Rantoul; his loving girlfriend, Mackenzie Delaney, Fisher; and also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
      Justin was a starting linebacker and guard for the Fisher Bunnies football team, serving as captain his senior year. He received All-Conference honors his junior and senior years and was voted most valuable player his senior year. He was also a member of the wrestling team and track team.
      He was employed by Swanson’s Roofing and enjoyed fishing and playing basketball at the park with his friends. Justin was a member of the Gibson City Bible Church and a member of the Fisher High School Class of 2016.
      He was friends with everyone, no matter what, and was always looking out for the underdogs, taking them under his wing. He had an infectious smile that could light up a room and had a joyful soul and a great sense of humor. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
      Memorial tributes may be made to the Justin Unzicker Memorial Fund at the Fisher National Bank.
