    • Obit: The San Bernardino County Sun, October 16, 1930

      Marking the first death in a family of 27, embracing four generations, was the passing last night of Mrs. Lena Schrock, wife of Peter Schrock, at her home, 1210 East Tenth Street, at the age of 76 years.

      Besides the widower, Mrs. Schrock is survived by three daughters, two sons, 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The daughters number Mrs. Al Stutzman and Mrs. J. J. Jantze of Upland, and Mrs. John Troyer of Aurora, Nebraska; and the sons are J. C Schrock of Upland, and F. W. Schrock of Ogden, Utah; John Unzicker of Milford, Nebraska, is a brother.

      Mr. and Mrs. Schrock were married on November 13, 1873, nearly 57 years, before coming to Upland some seven years ago.

      Funeral arrangements are in charge of J. B. Draper and Co. Services are to be held Friday, 2 pm. at the First Mennonite Church. The Rev. A. J. Neuenschwander is to be the officiant, and interment will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
