    • Obit:
      Emanuel Schrock, 74, of Washburn, died at 8 p.m. on Wednesday May 22, at his residence where he had lived for 17 years.

      Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Metamora Mennonite Church with the Rev. Roy Bucher officiating. 

      Burial was in Stewart Harmony Cemetery near Metamora. Visitation was at the residence from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour before services. 

      He was born Oct. 28, 1888, in Metamora Township, the son of Andrew and Barbara Bachman Schrock. He was married to Anna Garber Dec. 1, 1910, in the Harmony Church near Metamora. 

      One brother and one son preceded him in death. Mason Funeral Home of Metamora was in charge of arrangements. [1]
