  Obit: John had been hospitalized in Champaign for few months before he died. He was the brother of Joseph E. Burkey, 1412 S. Main St. and step brother of Mrs. Katherine Spencer, 801 S. University St., Normal. He had been in poor health for 2 years. He had been in the McLean Co. Nursing Home before going to Champaign.  He was the son of John and Lena Sutter Schrock. He lived most of his life in Milford, Nebraska, but lived in Bloomington for 20 years before his death. Also surviving him was a sister, Mrs. Leonard Mann, Niles, Michigan. He was a member of Assemblies of God Church in Normal. [2]
