ODELL — Linda D. Heiser, 73, of Odell, passed away Friday (Nov. 25, 2016), at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac, and is now in the restful arms of her Lord.
Her service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dwight United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lance Leeds officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. There will be no visitation. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.
Linda was born July 28, 1943, in Normal, to Charles and Annabelle Wells Pleines. She married Lowell R. Heiser on Jan. 6, 1961. He passed away on Dec. 8, 2010.
She is survived by her children, Sherri (Carl) Snyder, Odell; Sheila (Rodney) Simons, Odell; Marcia (Jack) Conlisk, Chenoa; and Michael (Lisa) Heiser, Fairbury; sisters, Bev (Marvin) Litwiller, Hopedale, and Judy (Ralph) Eadie, Hopedale; grandchildren, Jason (Angie), Sara (T.D. Burger), Calvin (Jacklyn) and Corey (Allison) Eggenberger; Stephanie (Alex) Malstaff and Abigail Snyder; Paige and Emily Heiser; Levi (Lindsay) and Naomi Cooper; and Michael, Hannah and Rebecca Conlisk; and great-grandchildren, Brooke and Bailee Burger; Addison and Emma Eggenberger; Ryleigh and Cole Eggenberger; Mia Eggenberger; Elijah, Gabriel and Elaina Malstaff; and baby Cooper, due in late December.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Lowell.
Linda was a graduate of Fisher High School, and graduated from Kankakee Community College with her LPN. She was a nurse in the Pontiac area for over 30 years. She was a member of Dwight United Methodist Church.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, driving her convertible and spending time in Florida.
