She was born May 1, 1904, in Congerville, a daughter of Jonathan and Naomi Gerber Schrock. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; great-great-nieces and -nephews; and great-great-great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Mae lived in Altadena, Calif., from 1949 to 1957, where she was employed as an accountant for Osogood candy manufacturer. She was a retired accountant for Schrock Brothers Company in Congerville. Mae was baptized May 25, 1919, in the Mackinaw River at Congerville Apostolic Christian Church. The family would to thank the staff at Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka for the compassion, care and love they showed for Aunt Mae. Mae was a member of Congerville Apostolic Christian Church, where her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Apostolic Christian Home, Eureka, and from noon to 12:45 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be at Goodfield/Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka, is handling the arrangements for the family.  Remained single. Lydia claims the spot of “Longest Lived” person in my family tree database, followed by two other Schrock/Schrags. They are a hardy bunch! -------- [2]
