      Mrs. Catherine Knox died on Monday (June 20, 1977) at Gibson Community Hospital Annex, Gibson City, Illinois.

      The funeral for Mrs. Catherine L. Knox, who died Monday (June 20, 1977) will be Thursday (June 23, 1977) at East Bend Mennonite Church, near Fisher, Illinois. Burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens, Fisher, Illinois.

      She was born on July 16, 1910 in White Pigeon, Michigan, a daughter of David and Katie Geiser Ingold.

      She married Earl Knox Sr. on August 21, 1929 in Fisher, Illinois.

      Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Patricia Darling and Mrs. Amanda Osborn both of Goshen, Indiana; a son Earl Knox Jr. of Paxton, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Weaver of Peoria, Illinois; and Mrs. Mary Roth of Eureka, Illinois; four brothers, Ray Ingold of Paxton, Illinois; Harve Ingold of Fisher, Illinois; Joe Ingold of Urbana, Illinois; and Dan Ingold of Elkhart, Indiana; and six grandchildren.

      A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

      Mrs. Knox a life long resident of the Gibson City and Fisher area was a member of the East Bend Mennonite Church, Fisher, Illinois.

On Aug. 21, 1929, she was married to Earl Knox, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mary Patricia Darling and Amanda Osborn), one son (Earl, Jr.,), 6 grandchildren, 2 sisters (Lena Weaver and Mary Roth), and 3 brothers (Harvey, Joe, and Dan). She was preceded in death by one sister and 2 brothers. She was a member of East Bend Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on June 23, in charge of Irvin Nussbaum and Phil Helmuth; interment in East Bend Memorial Gardens.
