Sheila Rae Jett of Owensville departed this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She had reached the age of 61 years, eight months, and 28 days. Sheila was born December 6, 1951 in Washington, Missouri to the late Clifford and Verna (Fink) Weirich. On February 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Jett in Hermann. She worked as a cook at school for many years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jett; two sons, Rodney Jett of Owensville and Todd Jett and wife Kim of Raymore, Missouri; three brothers, Frederick Weirich of Gerald, David Weirich and wife Carolyn of Gerald, and Roy Weirich and wife Jeannie of Union.; and five grandchildren, Marissa, Parker, Faith, Sierra, and Alexis Jett. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald, Missouri with Pastor Glenn Hollander officiating. Burial will be in the Martin-Weirich Cemetery in Leslie, Missouri. Visitation for 61 year old Sheila Rae Jett will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, Missouri.
