      CHENOA - The funeral of Ethel Bernice Roszhart, 89, of Meadows Mennonite Home, rural Chenoa, formerly of Flanagan, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Waldo Mennonite Church, rural Flanagan, the Rev. Lester Zook and the Rev. Edwin Stalter officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church.

      She died at 2 a.m. Tuesday (April 27, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator. Memorials may be directed to Waldo Mennonite Church or to Meadows Mennonite Home.

      Mrs. Roszhart was born July 21, 1909, in rural El Paso, a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Salzman Stalter. She married George Roszhart on January 8, 1953, in Flanagan. He died April 4, 1984.

      She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn (Virgil) May, Flanagan; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Zehr, four brothers, four sisters, and one grandson, Rick May.

      Mrs. Roszhart was a member of Waldo Mennonite Church, and an avid quilter.
