Lily Ellen (Stalter) Kauffman was born at Roundhill, Alberta on May 24, 1911 and passed away at the Tofield Hospital on October 9, 1975, after a lengthy illness, age 64 years, 4 months, and 15 days.
She accepted Christ in her youth and her faithfulness was expressed in service to her church. Christ remained the center of her life during the years of her failing health.
She was united in marriage to Loyal Jay Kauffman on December 14, 1933. Together they were blessed with 5 daugthers and 2 sons, Betty (Mrs. Merlin Stauffer) of Edmonton, Ellen (Mrs.Leo Lauber) of Tofield, Donald, of Edmonton, Inez (Mrs. Walter Lutz) of Holden, Grace (Mrs. Edwin Good) of Edmonton, and Joseph of Tofield. She was predeceased by one infant daughter. Two brothers also preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, six children, 18 grandchildren, her step-mother, one brother, and 5 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.
