11904 | Tuesday, June 21, 2005 The Pantagraph (Bloomington) GIBSON CITY -- Mabel A. Teuscher, 89, of Gibson City died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday (June 19, 2005) at her home in Gibson City. Her memorial service will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at Gibson City Bible Church, Gibson City, the Rev. Paul Thomason officiating. Private burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens, Fisher. Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Gibson City Bible Church or the Carle Hospice. Mrs. Teuscher was born Oct. 22, 1915, at Fisher, a daughter of Joseph A. and Fannie A. Schrock Heiser. She married Melvin R. Teuscher Sept. 15, 1936, at Fisher. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, John (Sue) Teuscher, Pittsfield, and Monty (Ginnie) Teuscher, Gibson City; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann (John) Neff, Champaign, and Ellen Teuscher, Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alta Detweiler, Foosland. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She was a member of Gibson City Bible Church. She and her husband farmed and lived in Fisher until 1995 when they moved to Gibson City. Mabel was an avid quilter, having made over 100 quilts. She also enjoyed her family, flowers and gardening. | Heiser, Mabel Aldene (I1312)
