The son of Marcellus Blount and Elizabeth J. Bryant, Clarence was married to Ella Malinda Park. They were the parents of 1 child.

He was survived by his wife, Ella; 1 daughter, Florence May Blount; and many extended family members.

Visitation was held at Ortmann's Funeral Home on Lackland Road in Overland, St. Louis County, Missouri. Funeral services were conducted at the Overland Christian Church at 2 p.m. on the afternoon of 25 Apr 1937.
