Christian Jantzi

Notes:

Michael Jantzi I's second son, Christian, was married, first to Anne Farny, then to Catherine Spenler. They lived on the farm called Belgrad about 20 kilometers south of St. Avold. The village in which their family registrations took place was Bistroff. It was on the Farm Belgrad that the first Michael Jantzi died in 1822 at age 103.

Ten children were born to the couple while they lived at Belgrad farm near Bistroff.

It was on the Farm Belgrad that the first Michael Jantzi died in 1822 at age 103.

“His son Christian, age 52, a farmer at Belgrad, and his neighbor Michel Saltzman, age 42, reported his death and declared that Michael Jantzi was 103 years and seven months. . .”
