- Examiners of his estate account: dated April 22, 1775; were Stephen Ruddell and James Claypool. Persons named in the account were: John Capper, William Nixon, George Nixon, "Clark's note," Robert Pugh, and Thomas Davis (for work that Thomas' son performed). May 5, 1760, Roger Parke received a Fairfax grant of 351 acres in Hampshire County, VA. (Note: See Northern Neck Grants (K), Reel 294, page 122, Virginia State Library, Richmond, VA)

Notes for Roger Parke:
Left Will - Deed Book I,l page 402, 1760 naming wife Hannah and daughter Hannah. The Arnolds also came from NJ and Roger may have married Hannah in NJ or in VA. He had 351 acres of land on the waters of Opequon, Frederick Co., VA 12 April 1751 For Roger Parke, 351 acres on Cacapon River; Granted to same 5 May 1760 - Geo. Washington Fairfax survey.
We do not know much about Roger except that he died and left a will, naming his wife and daughter Hannah Parke. Hannah may have married into the Arnold family who came from New Jersey to Virginia and are well documented in Virginia. We cannot confirm the name of Roger's wife.
Copy of will obtained and placed in research folder for Roger Parke. (Will 1773). Deed Book I ,page 402, 1760 Roger had 351 acres of land on Waters of Opequon, Frederick Co., Va.
