Records show his name as Jacob Danner in Woodford County in the 1878 directory, and that he was a Wagon Maker in El Paso TWP., P.O. El Paso, Illinois. Peter is listed as a farmer P.O. El Paso, Illinois.
Peter Maurer Cemetery is located in Woodford County, southeast of Congerville and near the site of the old Rock Creek Church. The cemetery is on private property and a white-rock private lane allows access. Observe common courtesy when visiting.
