      Nafziger.- Levi, son of Christ and Katherine (Springer) Nafziger, was born in Minier, Ill., Aug. 29, 1898; died of a heart attack at Mennonite Hospital, Nov. 23, 1972; aged 74 y. 2 m. 25 d.

      On Aug. 29, 1922, he was married to Emma Oswald, who survives.

      Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Rex Ritter and Mrs. Gene Cooper), 2 sons (Merle D. and Donald L.), 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 3 brothers (Aaron, Lawrence, and Simon Nafziger), and one sister (Marie Nafziger).

      Two brothers and 2 sisters preceded him in death.

      He was a member of the Hopedale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Nov. 26, in charge of Lee J. Miller; interment in Mennonite Cemetery.
