      WASHINGTON, IL - Betty June Anderson, 79, of Washington, formerly of Morton, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

      She was born June 28, 1934, in Morton to Clifford and Hazel (Schrock) Ferguson. She married Jack A. Anderson on Aug. 17, 1951, in Morton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 2002.

      She also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

      Surviving are one daughter, Vicki Hildreth of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Mark (Karen) Anderson of Pekin and Eric (Susan) Anderson of Morton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lehman of Peoria; and her partner, Gene Wilson of Washington.

      June retired from Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge in Morton and had worked as a caregiver. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Silver Sneakers program in East Peoria.

      A graveside service will be held at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
