    • Obit:

      Hauter-Fanny Eigsti Hauter was born in Bavaria, Germany, and died at Milford, Nebr.; aged 82 y. 25 d. In October, 1853, she came with her family to America and Feb. 8, 1862, she was married to Andrew Hauter. She joined the Amish Mennonite Church early in life and was a faithful member all her life. Being of an humble and peaceable disposition she was loved by all. She leaves a sorrowing husband with whom she had lived over 59 years, one brother (John) and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Text, II Tim. 4:7, 8-was her own choice. [6]
