    • Christian was a farmer with his two brothers, Jacob and Joseph. They worshipped at the Dillon Creek meeting. Later, Christian served on the committee which was in charge of building the Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church near Tremont, IL, erected in 1879. The building no longer exists and the membership is part of First Mennonite of Morton, IL. [1]
