To this union were born 4 boys and 2 girls, 5 of whom survive her (Peter, John, Benjamin, Mary M. Schertz, Elizabeth A. Stalter). One son Joseph and 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren preceded her to the spirit world. She has not been able to leave home for a number of years. She bore her sufferings patiently.
