Virgie Man Passes Away At Son's Home
Jacob B. Zimmerman Succumbs Early Today; Was Born In Germany In 1852
Jacob B. Zimmerman, a native of Germany where he was born on March 16, 1852, died at the home of his son, Joseph, at Virgie, between one and two o'clock Tuesday morning. His death was caused by heart trouble from which he suffered for a protracted period.
Mr. Zimmerman had been a resident of the United States since his early manhood. He had been living in the Virgie vicinity for many years.
The deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary King of Wheatland, N. Dak., Mrs. Mary Parks of Milroy township, Edward and Joseph Zimmerman of Virgie, and two brothers, John of Gibson City, Ill., and Peter of Arizona. His wife and one daughter, Tillie, preceded him to the grave.
The funeral services will be held from the Virgie church at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Aaron Egley of Kouts in charge. Burial will be made at Remington.
