STALTER, Ivan - The memorial service of IVAN D. STALTER, 46, of Foosland will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Gibson City Bible Church, Gibson City, the Rev. Paul Thomason will officiate. Private burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens, Fisher. He died at 4:20 p.m. Monday 4-3-2000 at his home. Mr. Stalter was born 8-2-1953 at Bloomington, a son of Roland and Violet Good Stalter. He married Peggy S. Horsch on 8-11-1979 at Gibson City. She survives. Other survivors include his parents of Belleville, Wis.; one son, Jamison D. Stalter, at home; one daughter, Kaleigh J. Stalter, at home; one brother, Mervin Stalter, Monticello; and two sisters, Helen Gingerich, Goshen Ind. and Doris Foster, Mahomet. An infant sister and his grandparents preceded him in death.
Mr. Stalter has lived in the Foosland area, formerly of Chatsworth for about 15 years. He was a farmer for many years. He was a member and elder of the Gibson City Bible Church. He was a graduate of Joliet Junior College with an associate degree in Ag Business.
