Notes - Peter Ropp was eventually ordained a deacon and attended the Amish Diener-Versammlungen as a delegate five times, in 1866, 1871, 1874, 1875, and 1878. He d. on July 27, 1893, near Pekin, Ill. Nine children.
Helped establish Bethel Mennonite Church, a “Stuckey” congregation, and then later joined and served as an elder of a religious community led by J. A. Dowie. [3]
