AUGSPURGER. - On the 31st of October, 1891, near Trenton, Butler Co., Ohio, Catharine J. Augspurger, maiden name Hieser, widow of Jacob Augspurger, aged 71 years, 9 months and 25 days. She had not been able to leave her room for 2 years, having lost the use of her limbs. She was a member of the Mennonite church for about 63 years, during all the which time she adorned her profession with her quiet, pious life, by which she won the esteem of all who were about her. She was the mother of nine children, of which two preceded her. Seven children 16 grand children and 5 great grandchildren and one brother remain to mourn her departure. Buried on the 3d of November. Funeral services by J. Augspurger and B. Zelner in German from 2 Cor. 5:
Katharina Heiser had arrived in Butler Co. between 1835 and 1838, with an out-of-wedlock daughter (b. Dec. 1834). Jacob and Katharina lived the rest of their lives in Butler Co. Nine children, the first being Katharina Heiser’s illegitimate German-born daughter.
[This daughter was Maria, who was probably the child of first husband, Georg Müller.]

Good morning Donna,
I have received a request for family Hiser/ Heiser in Bavaria. The article from Landes cemetery from Mary Ann Augsburger-Eng is printed in the October edition in MFH. A Jabob Hiser/Heiser is buried an the Landes cemetery. I look in your folder in the Internet and you say a Katharina Heiser have married an Augsburger and died on 10/31/1891 in Trenton widow of Jacob Augsburger 71years and 9 months old. She cannot be the Katharina Heiser was born in 1814.
I have documents that Katharia Hiser/ Heiser married Georg Müller in Ottendichl on 2/15/1834 - see appendix Text:
Munich the 15.2.1834
Georg Müller widower Zimmermanns-farmer in Ottendichl House no.1 concludes with the unmarried farmer´s daugther Katharina Hiser from Arzbach(Erzbach court Dachau with the assistance of their uncle Andreas Ösch, Farmer in court Starnberg, following marriage contract.
Katharina and Georg Müller both Mennonite hope to marriage. Katharina brings 200 Guldiers and he 500 Guldiers to the marriage. After the death of Georg, married Katharina on 8/13/1836 Paul Popp, look second appendix.
Please give me your comment, I think it is a other Katharina Hiser/Heiser was married Jakob Augsburger She was 71 years old then she died also she is born 1820.
My best regards, Herbert}
