Notes - Was probably a brother to Abraham Wagler. Isaac leased the Muesberg farm with/after his father, and then his sons Christian and Jacob leased the farm.
“Had a lease agreement of 1765, indicating the family leased at least 35 years prior to signing our family from Alsace. The Muesbach is a short stream that empties into the Strengbach about 4 miles west of the town of Ribeauville. Close to the stream, on its west bank and about midway in its length, was once located the farm known as Muesbach. Up on the hill nearby was a second hof known as Muesberg. Christian Wagler was bishop of the Amish church near Ribeauville, Upper Alsace, Framce. It is believed the Waglers came form Canton Bern, Switzerland.” [1]
