David Louis Schiavo, 92, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away September 21, 2002.
Services September 25, 2002, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Avenue, Cottonwood, Arizona.
Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Clarkdale.

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on Sept. 30, 1909.
Departed on Sept. 21, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.
David Louis Schiavo, 92, of Cottonwood, and formerly of Flagstaff, Arizona died on Saturday, September 21, 2002. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 30, 1909.
He attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois and became an ordained minister of Independent Bible Churches. Mr. Schiavo moved to Arizona in 1958. He was employed by Northern Arizona University from 1961 to his retirement in 1975 as their paint foreman.
In 1975 he moved to Camp Verde and he was appointed as Chaplain of The Civil Air Patrol, Squadron # 205. A position that he held for many years. Mr. Schiavo was also associated with the Sunshine Rescue Mission in Flagstaff where he conducted monthly services on a regular basis.
Mr. Schiavo is survived by his daughter, Ruth Elizabeth Clark, Flagstaff; sisters, Margaret Belgarbe, Arlington Heights, Fla., Eleanor Russell, Sun City West, Ariz., Rose Powers, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two nephews, six nieces and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
His beloved wife Fern preceded him in death on May 20, 1998 after fifty-seven years of marriage.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue Cottonwood, Arizona.
Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Arizona.
