      Elsie Marie was born on December 15, 1918 in Manson, Iowa to John and Lena (Oyer) Birkey. She passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at her home in Adair at the age of 95 years and 3 days. 

      Elsie was married to Ralph Yoder in 1944 and they had six children. They made their home in Iowa for a few years then moved to Alpha, Minnesota where they lived for 15 years. In 1963, they moved to rural Pryor then later to Adair and then Big Cabin. 

      She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Danny and 8 siblings. 

      Funeral services for Elsie Yoder, 95 of Adair, will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Zion Mennonite Church in Pryor. Rev. Duey Matthews will officiate with burial following at Zion Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor. [3]
