Amelia Heiser, a lifelong Fisher, Illinois resident died on
Thursday (February 2, 1984) at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City, Illinois.
Her funeral will be Saturday (February 4, 1984) at East Bend Mennonite Church near Fisher, Illinois with burial at East Bend Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Heiser was born on April 1, 1897 near Fisher, Illinois a daughter of Henry and Fannie (Steinman) Ingold.
She married Jacob B "Jake" Heiser on January 6,1916 in Fisher, Champaign County, Illinois. He died on August 14, 1997.
Survivors include Merle R. Heiser and Harold E. Heiser both of Fisher, Illinois; two daughters, Mildred Emerson and Lola Mae Knox both of Fisher, Illinois; a sister, Tillie Heiser of Fisher, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A brother, a sister, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Mrs. Heiser was a member of East Bend Mennonite Church, Fisher, Illinois, the Women's Missionary Service and Fisher Senior Citizens.

On Jan. 6, 1916, she was married to Jake B. Heiser, who died on Aug. 14, 1977. Surviving are 2 daughters (Mildred Emerson and Lola Mae Knox), 2 sons (Merle and Harold), 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Tillie Heiser). She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and 2 grandchildren. She was a member of East Bend Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Feb. 4, in charge of Paul 0. King; interment in East Bend Memorial Gardens.
