      DEWEY – Constance Jean "Connie" Eichelberger, 69, of rural Dewey died at 6:45 p.m. Monday (July 24,
      2017) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

      Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, at the Dewey Community Church, with the Rev. Neal
      Hauser and the Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens in rural
      Fisher. Her visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dewey Community Church and also for one
      hour prior to the services on Friday.

      Connie was born on Dec. 9, 1947, in Champaign-Urbana to the late Laura "Pete" and Gerald "Mac" Stacey. She married
      Steve Eichelberger on Aug. 27, 1966, at the Gibson City Bible Church. He survives in rural Dewey.
      Also surviving are two sons, Rob (Tami) Eichelberger of Aiken, S.C., and Troy (Darlene) Eichelberger of Goshen, Ind.;
      one daughter, Kristy (Matt) Wolkins of Winona Lake, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Colin Eichelberger, Grace
      Eichelberger, Jackson Wolkins, Caleb Eichelberger, Ben Eichelberger, Abigail Wolkins, Chloe Eichelberger and Caden
      Eichelberger; her siblings, Gary (Kathie) Stacey of Philo, Linda (Jim) Owen of Yukon, Okla., and Dan (Mary) Stacey of
      Mundelein; and four nieces, three nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
      Connie was a farm wife, mother and proud grandmother. She was a PCMars Accounts Specialist with East Central
      Farm Business Farm Management for approximately 20 years.

      She enjoyed spending time traveling with family and friends, especially her annual lake vacation spent on the water
      with her beloved husband, children and grandchildren. She also loved attending the annual "Sisters Weekend" since
      2002. She enjoyed music, was a pianist and a student accompanist.

      She was a member of the Dewey Community Church for over 50 years and served in many capacities; a member of the
      Ladies Gospel Quartet for over 30 years; and is remembered for her role as a high school youth sponsor.
      Memorial tributes may be made to the Mission of the Dewey Community Church or an organization of the donor's
      choice.
