    • Obit:
      FISHER – Robert C. Heiser, 83, of Fisher passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday (Aug. 4, 2015) at Farmer City Rehab and Health Care.
      He was born on May 8, 1932, in Gibson City, a son of Albert and Anna (Good) Heiser. He married Joyce M. Bruehl on April 11, 1951, in Fisher. She preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 2010.
      He is survived by two sons, Mark (Linda) Heiser of Foosland and Bruce (Cindy) Heiser of Colfax; a step daughter, Terry Heiser of Savoy; three grandchildren, Lisa, Matthew and Katie; and two step grandchildren, Wesley and Dylan.
      He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.
      Robert was a manager at Glass Specialty for 38 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and bowling. Fisher will miss seeing him on his daily walks through town.
      A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Willowbrook Cemetery, Fisher. The Rev. James Hatch will officiate.
      Lux Memorial Chapel is handling the arrangements.
