Floyd Daniel Birkey, 90, was a son of Alvin and Amelia Zehr Birkey. He married Jean Allen on Feb. 27, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Shirley (Roger) Greenup and Donna Alsteen, his sons, Ron (RaNae) Birkey and Brian Birkey three granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, his brother, Carroll "Kelly" (Minerva) Birkey and two sisters, Viola Stacy and Margret Oyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during World War II.
