    Notes
    • Anna’s surname is spelled (Schraque) on the marriage document.

One of the witnesses to the marriage was the bride’s cousin, Jean Hirgie, a 58-year-old farmer at Haute-Clocher. (Could be Jean Hirschy, born 1752 in Haute-Clocher, who married Anne Rouvenacht (sister of Barbe Rouvenacht?) .
The groom signed his name “Petter Rinckenberg” and the bride signed with an “x”, indicating she was illiterate. Catherine Kempt also signed with an “x”.

Catherine Kempf was present and consented to her son’s marriage. [1]
