  • Notes
    • Peter and Anne lived in Hingsange between 1810 and 1829 when nine of their children were born and two died. In 1831, Peter, Anne, and at least seven of their children sailed for America. After disembarking in New York, they went to Lancaster Co., PA, where their last child was born in 1833. The family moved by steamboat to Illinois in 1837.

Peter walked twenty miles to attend church at Mackinaw Dells. When he died, Peter left no will. His grave stone uses the name Rinkenberger. [2, 6, 8]
