GIBSON CITY — Eldon E. Cender, 60, of Gibson City, died at 7 a.m. yesterday June 28, 1992 at Gibson Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.
A memorial service was held at East Bend Mennonite Church, Fisher, the Rev. Millard Osborne officiating. Visitation at Lamb Funeral Home
He was born July 20, 1931, near Fisher, the son of Emery P. and Mattie Stalter Cender. He married Rosa M. Beachey July 28, 1956, in Arthur. She survives in Gibson City.
Also surviving are his father, Gibson City; one son, Norman, Gibson City; one daughter, Leanna Kaser, Schaumburg; two grandchildren; three brothers, Mahlon and Lowell, both of Goshen, Ind., and Milton, Gibson City; and five sisters, Fern Martin, Downers Grove; Wilda Otto, Brussels, Belgium; Vietta Nofziger, McPhearson, Kan.; Marlene Kaufman, Akron, Pa.; and Mary Jo Oswald, Lake Jackson, Texas.
His mother preceded him in death.
Mr. Cender retired from farming in 1964. He was a member of East Bend Mennonite Church, rural Fisher.
