      Clara Birkey
      FISHER – Memorial services for Clara Birkey, 70, of Dallas, Ore., formerly of Fisher, were Thursday at Grace Community Church, Dallas. Private burial was in Salt Creek Cemetery, Dallas.
      Bollman Funeral Home, Dallas, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Birkey died April 1, 2001, at Salem, Ore.

      DALLAS — Clara Birkey, 70, died Sunday. (POLK CO.)
      She was born near Peoria, Ill., and married Lyle in 1951. They served in gospel ministry in Northern California and Washington. They retired and moved to Dallas in 1997.
      Survivors include her husband; sons, Tim of Salem, Dan of Portland and Andy of Bloomington, Ill.; daughter, Julia Birkey of Greenville, S.D.; and five grandchildren.
      Visiting will be 7-8:30 p.m. today at Bollman Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Community Church, where she was a member. Private interment will be at Salt Creek Cemetery. Contributions: Village Missions, care of the mortuary.
