  Crist was born on 8/24/1907 in Fairview, Michigan and died 5/28/1978 in Geauga County, Ohio. Crist was the ninth of ten children. Crist's father was Christian D. Miller (9/22/1867-11/15/1945) and his mother was Mary S. (Weaver) Miller ( 11/7/1868-12/7/1936). Crist married Ada H. Shrock (7/29/1906-12/4/1979) on 11/6/1929. They had to make special arrangements for someone to take care of their daughter, Esther as she was an invalid and needed special care. Crist and Ada had eight children - all girls!!
