      According to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, Chesney Cromer bought the South West quarter of the North East quarter of section twenty nine, in Township forty two, of Range three, West, in the District of Lands subject to sale at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO, containing forty acres.
      Given at the City of Washington, on the 15th day of April, 1853, and the seventy-seventh year of Independence of the United States.
