JACOB ZIMMERMAN DIES AT CISSNA PARK
Old Resident of County and Father of Jon Zimmerman, Former Metamora Buisness Man
Jacob Zimmerman, an old resident of this vicinity and father of John Zimmerman, a former Metamora businessman who is now in California, died at the home of a daughter in Cissna Park Sunday. Deceased was past 83 years of age. He came to this country from his native home in Germany when eight years of age. The family formerly lived in Enreka and since the death of his wife in 1894, Mr. Zimmerman has lived with his daughters. He is survived by seven daughters and one son, Mrs. D. Greuter of Roanoke, Mrs. Fred Bechtel and Anna Zimmerman of Eureka, Mrs. A.J. Zimmerman of Remington, Ind., Mrs. Ida Krumweider of Thawville, Mrs. Edward Kambly, Mrs. G.R. Stoller of Cissna Park, and John of Los Angeles, Calif. The funeral was held at Cissna Park Wednesday. [2]
