      F. Marie Sutter, 91, formerly of Hopedale, died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1994, at Maple Lawn Health Center in Eureka.

      Born Nov. 4, 1902, in rural Hopedale to Amos and Barbara Naffziger Litwiller, she married Ervin H. Sutter on Dec. 27, 1923, in Hopedale.

      Surviving are three sons, Lyle of Flanagan, Francis of Morton and Gene of Sun City West, Ariz.; one brother, John P. Litwiller of Hopedale; three sisters, Alma Kauffmann of Eureka, Mabel Zehr of Gibson City and Erma Nafziger of Hopedale; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-granddaughter.

      One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

      She was a member of Hopedale Mennonite Church.

      Burial will be in Mennonite Cemetery. [3]
