      Zehr, Alvin W, son of David and Elizabeth (Zehr) Zehr, was born in Manson, Iowa, May 30, 1896; died at Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Ind, Feb 19, 1982; aged 85 y. 

      On Dec 19, 1920, he was married to Ruth Lehman, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. 

      He was a member of Manson Mennonite Church and an associate member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church on Feb 2,2 in charge of Bob Detweiler; interment in Yellow Creek Mennonite Cemetery.
